The term ‘you’ refers to the user or viewer of our website. We are completely dedicated to your satisfaction. Whilst using this website, you are agreeing to comply with the following terms and conditions of use, which together with our privacy policy, returns policy and cookie policy regulate our relationship with you and our website. When you purchase from Fishkar you enter into a contract and these terms detail our responsibilities to you.

Making a Purchase & the Contract
Making a purchase is simple. Browse our online shop, add the desired items to your basket, then either review your shopping basket or proceed directly to the checkout. To place an order you are required to complete our simple checkout process; you will be guided through the required stages and asked to input your data to complete the transaction. Please ensure you pay full attention and ensure your details are correct before placing an order. Upon placing your order, we will send you an order acknowledgement email which advises you that we’ve received your order request and will provide you with a reference number.
When your order is ready, we will send you a dispatch confirmation email. It is at this point that we accept your order, you are charged and the contract between Fishkar and yourself is formed. All orders are subject to availability and we reserve the right to cancel an order should there be an issue with stock levels or payment details, or the identification of a pricing or product description error. All purchases take place in a safe environment using the latest SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption technology and our secure server.
We accept most credit/debit card payments and PayPal. If you are shopping from abroad, please note we will charge you in GBP and your card issuer will convert this from their end.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to dispatch.
Liability
Fishkar shall not be liable in any way for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly for the delivery of goods being delayed, prevented or for any other reason beyond our control including the acts of any third parties we use to fulfil an order or service. Furthermore, in no event will we be liable for any loss or damage including without limitation, indirect or consequential loss or damage, or any loss or damage whatsoever whether arising from loss of data, loss of profits or loss of revenue in connection with the use of this website.
Delivery
Fishkar will deliver ordered goods to the delivery address supplied whilst submitting an order. Availability permitting, orders will be dispatched for delivery within the stated time frame. The dispatch of goods constitutes our duty of fulfilling the contract. If you receive delivery notification but no delivery has been made, or are unfortunate to receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately. This will allow us to assist you immediately and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable. With any delivery we do advise that you check the goods upon arrival before signing for the delivery. We can accept no liability for costs incurred by late deliveries, or for any other reason. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
We want you to be happy with everything you buy from us. If you are not completely satisfied with any of the goods you have purchased then please notify us immediately and return them to us within 14 days for a full refund. Full details can be found on our refunds & returns policy.
Changes to these terms
Fishkar has the discretion to update our terms and conditions at any time. If any changes are made we will revise the updated date at the bottom of this page. We encourage users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review our terms and conditions periodically and become aware of modifications.
Delivery and collection
DELIVERY & COLLECTION
We aim to dispatch all orders within two working days (excluding weekends), using courier tracked services. We will provide you with tracking information. If you do not receive tracking details, please check your junk email folder before contacting us. We use reputable carriers such as Royal Mail, ParcelForce, Hermes Tracked etc.
If you require the item urgently, please contact paul@fishkar.com . This may incur an increased charge for using an expedited shipping service. If you require us to use a particular courier service, please contact us to advise of this when you order.
All shipments are fully covered for loss and or damage in transit.
UK ORDERS
Standard UK shipping is charged according to size and weight and will be shown at the checkout.
You are welcome to collect your order free from our Staffordshire premises, by pre-arranged appointment.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Standard international (non-UK) shipping is charged according to size and weight and will be shown at the checkout. Delivery times vary depending on the country.
Orders to Canada will usually be shipped using Royal Mail.
Please be aware that international orders (including to the EU) may attract VAT or customs charges, which are set by the destination country and are out of our control. These vary depending on the destination country and are payable by the customer. If you refuse to pay these fees the item will be automatically returned to us, and we reserve the right to deduct any additional costs we incur from any refund.
REFUNDS and RETURNS
Fishkar are committed to high standards of practice and ensuring you have complete confidence in your purchases. We aim to describe our items fully and document their condition thoroughly. We are also happy to answer any questions prior to purchase. In the event that you are not happy with your purchase we will gladly issue a full refund (excluding return transport costs, unless the item has been mis-described in error). The items must be returned within 14 working days of receipt in the same condition that they left us.
In the event that goods are delivered in a damaged condition it is important that this is noted on the delivery receipt and a copy is forwarded to us. We will cover loss or damage in transit of any items sold by us, on receipt of photographic or other evidence.
CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATIONS
All items purchased from Fishkar are covered under the Consumer Contracts Regulations, which give all buyers the right to cancel the purchase within 14 working days after receipt of the item, for a full refund. Return postage is at the buyer’s cost.
